This is quite tricky. Not actually coming up with tunes – got hundreds of them – but apart from putting them in some sort of order, actually getting the content together.
I’d like to post video where possible, and preferably the original version i.e. not a live one filmed on an iPhone or something. But apart from there not being a lot of pop videos around for indie bands over 10 or so years ago, there’s also the point that I preferred their early stuff (i.e. when the bands concerned were still recording on a lock-up rather than financed by EMI or someone).

Also, there will be an inevitable concentration on stuff from Scotland’s leading indie label. This tune, happily, satisfies all the above criteria – from the second album from the country’s most important label and arguably by our most important ever band.
