From 1998 apparently – how time flies, and what a lot of history this lot have.
This was from debut album One Arm Two Hands Two Legs – I’d probably have gone for a tune from Wrong Town Wrong Planet Three Hours Late but looks like the promo video money from their major label had run out by then… anyway, this is a fine tune as has been pretty much everything they’ve put out.

The band split and reformed as far as I can tell – this lineup contained Donald Kyle who it turned it was going out with a girl I worked with, and was responsible for much of the weird short ‘interlude’ tracks which helped make the second album. The reformed version still contained Paul Vickers (who has worked with The Leg and will be doing his Twonkey’s Castle Fringe show again this year. Roger Simian is one half of The Bird and The Monkey. Oh, and back in the day the entire band ran the mag/zine Sun Zoom Spark, which acted as an inspiration for is this music? – though the fact it didn’t become a massive commercial success should probably have acted as a warning!
