Sometime around 2007, Xfm Scotland asked me to do biographies of all of their presenters, for their soon-to-be-relaunched website. I think one or two of these actually made it online, but the station was obviously in turmoil, and eventually was bought out by Capital, where it remains today as as mainstream pop station rather than the comparatively indie-rock and ‘proper’ dance-oriented broadcaster.

Anyway, I came across the biogs – which read more like the kind of interviews you might find in a 4-page spread in a Sunday paper – and thought they might as well go online since no-one ever got to read them.

I’m going to put them up as I go through them. First is the old Gamesmaster himself, Dominick Diamond.
